What The Flock Rescue is an independent rescue based in the heart of Idaho. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving space with understanding, and compassionate care. We strive to educate and inspire our community, while giving these incredible birds a second chance to thrive and receive the love they desire.

WTFR has an incredible team of fosters along with a supportive and loving community. Our team consists of experienced rehabilitators and volunteers who are passionate about the welfare of each bird . We work around the clock to provide the best care possible while getting to know their amazing personalities.

At this time we do not have an open to public facility, our foster team graciously opens their homes, designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the birds in our care. Fosters treat each as their own during their stay, we provide a hearty and enrichment filled diet of fresh chop, pellets, mixed nuts and fun treats, as well

Fosters treat each as their own during their stay, we provide a hearty and enrichment filled diet of fresh chop, pellets, mixed nuts and fun treats, as well as grooming, as needed avian specific vet care, toys, and all the love they need.

Senior flock

Bird Bird, Pretty Pretty, and Florence, are a bonded group of Senior cocktails. Bird Bird and Pretty Pretty are sisters from the same clutch. Must be adopted as a flock. All are semi tame and will sit on your hand and step up when they want to.
Bubba
30+ years

Bubba is an assumed 30+ year old Male Blue Fronted Amazon. He will need a lady handler, has spent his whole life bonded to a female human friend. Full of personality and loves head scratched. Is loud especially if he can't be on his person . Will be a fantastic best friend for the right lady who won't mind his flock call and being a stage 5 clinger to you. Eating Harrisons pellet & Chop
Boo-Boo
24 years

Boo boo is a 24 year old male Congo African Grey, he heavily prefers to bond to a man and not very open to trusting ladies. He is pretty destructive of his feathers, LOVES toys and making fart sounds. Boo is full of personality, would do best in a home with a man as his handler who is home a lot of the day. Currently under observation and not available for adoption yet.
