What The Flock Rescue is an independent rescue based in the heart of Idaho. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving space with understanding, and compassionate care. We strive to educate and inspire our community, while giving these incredible birds a second chance to thrive and receive the love they desire.

WTFR has an incredible team of fosters along with a supportive and loving community. Our team consists of experienced rehabilitators and volunteers who are passionate about the welfare of each bird . We work around the clock to provide the best care possible while getting to know their amazing personalities.

At this time we do not have an open to public facility, our foster team graciously opens their homes, designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the birds in our care. Fosters treat each as their own during their stay, we provide a hearty and enrichment filled diet of fresh chop, pellets, mixed nuts and fun treats, as well

Fosters treat each as their own during their stay, we provide a hearty and enrichment filled diet of fresh chop, pellets, mixed nuts and fun treats, as well as grooming, as needed avian specific vet care, toys, and all the love they need.

Maui
30+ years
Maui is a 30+ year old Scarlet Macaw, He prefers a lady handler. tolerates men but bonds to ladies. He would do best in a home with older or no kids as well as animals that will allow him to walk around the floor without hurting him. He tolerates kids and other pets from a distance, does not appreciate them in his space. Will be a velcro bird to his lady person.
Sweetie
10 years
Sweetie is a 10 year old Rose Breasted Cockatoo (Galah). He prefers ladies to bond with, he absolutely makes it obvious if he has chosen you. He tolerates men enough. He is a loud and very dusty boy. Sweet as they come though, very much a velcro bird to his person. He would do best in a calm home.
