What The Flock Rescue is an independent rescue based in the heart of Idaho. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving space with understanding, and compassionate care. We strive to educate and inspire our community, while giving these incredible birds a second chance to thrive and receive the love they desire.
WTFR has an incredible team of fosters along with a supportive and loving community. Our team consists of experienced rehabilitators and volunteers who are passionate about the welfare of each bird . We work around the clock to provide the best care possible while getting to know their amazing personalities.
At this time we do not have an open to public facility, our foster team graciously opens their homes, designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the birds in our care. Fosters treat each as their own during their stay, we provide a hearty and enrichment filled diet of fresh chop, pellets, mixed nuts and fun treats, as well

If you would like to help sponsor any of our current residents please see the 'Ways to help' tab below. Sponsoring helps with any vet care, grooming, food, supplies and anything needed during their stay with us. We are so grateful for each of you!
Boo-boo needs a man, he does not like ladies. He will need someone patient and willing to earn his trust as it wont come easy with him (even to a man). He was in one home his whole life. He loves his food and to make noises all day, he would benefit being in a home with another african grey, he LOVES to talk to ours.
Under Observation
Male Elenora cockatoo (Medium Sulphur-crested)
Willow a 5year old Male cockatiel. He is the biggest love bug ever and will need a home where he will get lots of love and attention for many many more years . He is flighted and use to being out of his cage most all of the day. He loves being with his people, he will flock call if he can not see you (cockatiels do have a pretty noisy scream aka flock call). Overall he is a sweet sweet boy with MANY years left to live.
